This paper aims to rescue and discuss the idea of “capitalist transformation of Brazil” through the classic book A revolução burguesa no Brasil (RBB), by Florestan Fernandes. Besides the analysis of elements of the text, we seek to contribute to enriching the present debates of some interpreters of the work.
